Eligibility and Educational Qualification for Assam Fishery Dept. Recruitment 2025

Eligibility Criteria :-

1. The candidate must be an lndian Citizen and
2. The candidate must be a permanent resident of Assam.
3. The candidate must upload a copy of the valid Permanent Resident as a domicile proof.

Educational qualifications:

1. Candidate must have three years diploma in civil engineering/ planning/ construction Technology from any technical institute recognized by AICTE.
2. Diploma course obtained through distance mode of education, will not be considered. Hence, the diploma course must be a regular course.

Age Limit

(as on 01-01-2025) The candidates should not be less than 18 years of age and not more than 40 years.

Age Relaxation:

The upper age limit is relaxable as follows:-

• 5 years for SC/ST candidates
• 3 years for OBC/MOBC candidates
• For Ex.Servicemen, the maximum age shall be 42 years.
• Persons with benchmark disability (PwBD): 10 years.
